At SK AI Summit 2024 held at COEX in Seoul from November 4 to 5, 2024, XL8 (XL8)'s AI interpretation solution EventCat (EventCat) provided real-time AI subtitling services for the entire session. EventCat supports more than 40 languages, and the event provided live captions in two languages, Korean and English, to suit the audience. Eventcat was very well received by providing real-time interpretation subtitles according to the user's customized environment at large-scale events where multiple sessions were held simultaneously at different locations. This year's SK AI Summit was held in a format where different sessions were held simultaneously in each conference room across all floors 1 to 3 of COEX. Without having to have simultaneous interpretation booths or interpreters in every conference room, we were able to provide real-time interpretation subtitles for all sessions by simply connecting the laptop using EventCat to the speaker's microphone voice. Specifically, only two things were needed to provide live captions: a laptop to use EventCat and a stable internet connection.
